As the title reads, is there any interest out there in a podcast discussing Great Lakes fishing and possibly hunting in Upstate New York? I am honestly curious. My current profession has me in the car a good deal of the time and I'm always searching for entertaining and informative podcasts. My curiosity led me today to search "fishing" in the Apple podcast app. Much to my surprise, there are very few fishing podcasts and none dedicated to Great Lakes fishing! I was disappointed because my search was two-fold, I was hoping to be entertained with fishing stories and possibly to learn some new tactics to catch fish. There are very few fishing podcasts out there and none of them were dedicated to the style of fishing I enjoy.
To that end, would you be interested in a podcast dedicated to Great Lakes fishing with some fishing stories interspersed? The vision I have is a session including a fishing report, updates on the tactics currently catching fish, and close with a personal experience of story with some humor. I'm thinking a maximum of 30 minutes to begin, then expanding if a listener base develops. I'm thinking of including some video recording during the podcast as well, to be included on the Dirty Oar Adventures YouTube channel.
